DAY 1

Woke up today to some lovely sunshine. Some great views from the bottom end of the site into the valley.

Decided to have a little walk into Belper town centre which is about 2 miles away.

Lovely little town with some stunning old buildings and the old Strutt mill was impressive.

Had picnic lunch and a pot of tea in the riverside gardens

Start of our road trip

We left our storage at Bridlington yesterday Friday 14th to start our new road trip.

We are heading to The Firs Caravan Club Site in Belper for 5 nights.

Arrived about 1.30pm with a very light drizzle when setting up, by the time we had finished it was raining and then never stopped until early hours of the morning.

 

Walk along Bridlington South Beach

 Today was the first time since the week end that we have been able to get out with Millie, the weather as been very mixed with some very heavy rain showers.

We didn’t see the sun today but at least it was dry

Had the beach very much to ourselves. Millie enjoyed the ball throwing as usual.

Sandringham February

 we arrived on Sandringham estate Caravan & Motorhome Club site on 2nd February 2023.

The site is located about 2 miles from the visitor centre and house, there is a lovely walk through the woods, which we did on numerous occasions.

We spent a day walking the coastal path from Hunstanton to Thornham, here are a few photos from our day out

We decided on a visit to Wells Next The Sea and did a circular walk from Wells via Holkham
